There are many independent online stores on the World Wide Web, selling merchandises such as books to jewellery. With the amount of stores mushrooming, it is hard to verify if a store is genuinely doing business, whether you will get what you have paid for.

While there are no trust issues with large and well established sites, customers lack the confidence to make purchases from smaller online stores. With MOL SafePay, Sellers can clear any doubts that their potential Buyers might have. Buyers on the other hand can rest assured that they will be getting exactly what they paid for.

To use MOL SafePay, the Buyer or Seller can initiate a MOL SafePay transaction. The basic steps are:


	Seller offers MOL SafePay as a payment option or Buyer contacts Seller and Seller agrees to use MOL SafePay to complete the transaction.
	Auction ended, Buyer obtains Seller’s (or vice versa) MOL Member username (if Seller is a existing MOL Member) or email address.
	Buyer or Seller may initiate the MOL SafePay transaction by logging in to MOL SafePay with their MOL Member account. If you do not have an existing MOL Member account please click here to register
	After the transaction is created, MOL SafePay will contact the other party to review the terms of transaction. The transaction will proceed once both parties agree to the terms.
	The Buyer must make payment to MOL SafePay through MOL Freedom, Maybank2U or cheque. The payment includes the RM2 or 2% of the total purchase price inclusive of shipping, whichever is higher, if the MOL Safe Pay fees are borne by the Buyer.
	After MOL SafePay confirms good funds from the Buyer, MOL SafePay will instruct the Seller to ship the merchandise.
	Once the buyer receives the merchandise, they will then approve the payment.
	MOL SafePay will pay the Seller immediately by crediting their MOL Freedom card once the Buyer approves the payment. If the MOL SafePay fees are borne by the Seller, RM2 or 2% of the total purchase price inclusive of shipping, whichever is higher will be deducted from the amount credited to the Seller.
